Another sick child...

Today it is my other daughter, Sara, who is sick. She woke me up during the night throwing up and this morning when I woke her up for school she still had an upset stomach and a headache. She got up long enough to take a shower, wrap a towel around her wet hair, and head back to bed. She has been sleeping ever since... She wasn't happy to miss today because she is trying out for the school musical and tonight is auditions... Hopefully she will be better tomorrow...

Getting ready to drive the bus...

I will be heading out in a few minutes to drive my afternoon bus route. My little girl has been sick all night and most of today. She finally stopped throwing up a couple hours ago... The poor little thing. I wasnt feeling well myself yesterday. I had a headache and a sore throat. I still have a sore throat today but at least the headache is better...

In other news my son goes back to the Marines tonight. I take him to the airport at 6pm. He will be stationed at Camp Pendleton, Ca for awhile. Of course I have no idea how long he may stay there. I keep waiting to hear that he is being shipped to Iraq... Hopefully the whole Iraq thing will be over soon and that wont happen.

A quiet Sunday at home...

It's been a quiet day. My granddaughter is over having a sleep over with Miranda. Since my granddaughter is on spring break from school I imagine she will be here a few more days. Her front top tooth was loose this morning and it didn't take her long to get it pulled out. The tooth is sitting on my desk in a baggie waiting for her to go home so the tooth fairy will come visit. Her and Miranda have spent the morning playing games and having a grand old time. I am actually not feeling very well. I have a bit of a sore throat and a slight headache. I hope it doesn't turn into anything. I hate being sick. I am actually thinking I may make a cup of hot tea and go in and lay down for awhile and see if that helps any...

Home Again..

Well I had intended to post much earlier today, BUT, my hubby took the day off. So we spent a lazy Saturday together. We had a late breakfast, then we went and did some grocery shopping. A trip to town isnt complete unless we stop by Best Buy and do some browsing. I just got supper in the oven and now I have some time to get this post made. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend,,, The temperatures finally warmed up here today and it hit a balmy 50* The weatherman is predicting high 50's tomorrow and 65* on Monday! I cant wait for warmer temps to get here :)
